Forum Guidelines

§1 General Provisions

  1. This Guidelines document outlines the rules for using the forum at http://94.177.160.54/ipboard/, including rights and obligations of Administrators, Moderators, and Users.
  2. Using the forum implies acceptance of these Guidelines.
  3. The forum is for individuals aged 13 or older with full legal capacity or parental consent.
  4. The forum is a platform for exchanging thoughts, opinions, and information, with respect for all Users as a core principle.
  5. Administrator – the entity responsible for the forum’s operation and technical maintenance.
  6. Moderator – a person ensuring order and compliance with these Guidelines.
  7. Users are categorized as:
    • Passive Users – those browsing without full registration.
    • Active Users – fully registered with access to all features.
  8. User Account – a unique space with a login, password, and optional profile (e.g., avatar, signature).
  9. Avatar – a graphic displayed next to the username, per Administrator’s size limits.
  10. Post – a single contribution to a chosen topic.
  11. Signature – text displayed below posts, adhering to rules.
  12. Rank – an activity indicator (e.g., Beginner at 100 posts, Elite at 9000 posts).
  13. Ban – temporary or permanent access block for rule violations.
  14. Warning – a penalty for a single violation.
  15. Private Message (PM) – a message between Users, if the recipient hasn’t restricted access.
  16. Copying or modifying forum content without Administrator consent is prohibited.

§2 Fees

Using the forum is completely free of charge.

§3 Registration

  1. Each User may create only one account; additional accounts (except for appeals) will result in a permanent ban.
  2. Users can request account deletion by emailing contact@yourforum.com.
  3. Registration requires: username, email, password, security question answer, and CAPTCHA.
  4. Password changes are allowed after initial login.
  5. All registration data must be accurate and current.
  6. Users consent to data processing for forum purposes, with the right to object.

§4 Reservations

  1. The Administrator may verify User data when necessary.
  2. The Administrator is not liable for issues due to force majeure or telecom operators.
  3. Users are responsible for adapting their devices to forum requirements.
  4. The Administrator is not liable for damages from Users’ illegal actions.
  5. The forum may have periodic downtime for maintenance.
  6. The Administrator may update the forum’s functionality and design.
  7. Anonymous statistical data may be collected.
  8. The forum may close with 30 days’ notice if operation becomes unfeasible.

§5 Posting Rules

  1. Respect copyright laws when posting content.
  2. Scan executable files on http://virustotal.com/ before uploading.
  3. Avoid duplicate topics; duplicates will be removed.
  4. Match posts to relevant categories.
  5. Do not copy posts to other forums or categories.
  6. Write accurately and precisely.
  7. Use proper English grammar and punctuation.
  8. Follow netiquette guidelines.
  9. Specific section rules take precedence.
  10. Trading is allowed only in designated areas.

§6 Prohibitions

  1. Prohibited are vulgar, offensive, illegal, or violence-promoting content.
  2. Posting advertisements is forbidden.
  3. Links to prohibited content in profiles are banned.
  4. External links are allowed only in designated areas.
  5. Commercial use of forum data is prohibited.
  6. Violating User privacy is forbidden.
  7. Exploiting forum bugs is banned; report them to the Administrator.
  8. The Administrator may block accounts with non-compliant content.
  9. Users must confirm copyright ownership within 7 days if challenged.
  10. Content with valid claims will be removed with a note.

§7 Complaints

  1. Users may submit complaints about forum operations.
  2. Send complaints to contact@yourforum.com.
  3. Responses will be provided within 14 business days.
  4. Replies will be sent to the provided email.
  5. Processing may extend if further clarification is needed.

§8 Warnings

  1. The Administrator tracks warnings; check status at contact@yourforum.com.
  2. Bans may be imposed for serious or repeated violations.

§9 Final Provisions

  1. The forum strives for continuous, trouble-free operation.
  2. Guidelines may be updated; Users will be notified and must accept changes.
  3. Unregulated matters follow applicable local laws.
